Legacy class

What is a Legacy Class?

The Legacy Class program pairs the most recent class of cadets with the class that graduated 50 years before. For example, the Class of 1977 is the Legacy Class for the Class of 2027. The. Legacy Class is asked to to engage with and support a current class of cadets throughout its four years at the Academy.

A 47-month cycle encourages engagement between the two classes. This begins — even before Inprocessing Day — with Appointee & Family Welcome Day at Doolittle Hall. Other engagement opportunities include milestone events such as the Acceptance Day parade, Exemplar Dinner, Commitment Dinner, Ring Dance, 100s Night, and more.
