Supporters of Air Force Falcons athletic teams can help sustain their favorite programs through the Air Force Academy Association & Foundation. Recent announcements place extra focus on two programs and their legendary coaches who shaped their athletes.

The Weichers Endowment for Boxing Excellence honors coach Eddie Weichers’ extraordinary legacy at the Academy. It will provide lasting annual support for boxing priorities, such as training, competitions, coaching resources, athlete development and the annual boxing awards. The Department of Athletics dedicated the Coach Eddie Weichers Boxing Gym before the Wing Open this spring.

The Association & Foundation and Athletics also are honoring Fisher DeBerry, the winningest Academy football coach, with the Fisher DeBerry Football Excellence Endowment. Earnings from the endowment will be used for annual program priorities such as recruiting, coaching staff, facilities, technology and more.
