Capital projects
Modern facilities play an important role in the leadership development environment at the heart of the Air Force Academy’s athletic mission. World-class facilities enable cadets and coaches to experience meaningful growth through hard work, grit and determination. Through wins and losses, future officers learn how to solve problems in innovative and collaborative spaces.

Falcon Stadium
Transforming an Academy Icon
The Kucera Legacy Center at Falcon Stadium is the most transformative project in the history of Air Force Academy athletics. Read more on the Falcon Stadium Modernization website.
Falcon’s Nest
The Falcon’s Nest at Clune Arena will be expanded to offer better accommodations for guests, cadets, faculty and staff. The improved space will feature space for meetings, dining and club area for large group gatherings. In addition, it will provide fixed premium seats for basketball and hockey games. The extra space is critical for team and course-specific tutor sessions, additional instruction sessions and training table meals. The large group meeting space will be available to cadets and the athletic department year-round outside of games.
Baseball Stadium
An upgrade to the Falcons’ baseball facility is long overdue. The Air Force Academy Foundation is seeking lead donors for the project. Please connect with us if you are interested in helping to provide Falcon Baseball with the home it deserves.

Athletic endowments
Create a perpetual legacyYou can provide enduring support to any Air Force athletic program by contributing to an existing endowment or creating a new one. An endowment is a permanent fund that is invested to provide sustainable financial support for a program. The gifted funds yield investment returns based on market conditions and provide an annual payout to support the donor’s designated use. These commitments provide a continuous and reliable source of income, a critical element in today’s increasingly uncertain environment.
